Top Tip 4: Revisit Your Goals & Vision
What goals have you set for your business in 2012? How about your big goals for 3 and 5 years time? What is the reason why you started your business? Has this changed since you started?
Having clear goals and knowing why you are doing what you’re doing is a great motivation for you to stay on course so that you do achieve those goals.
This is your opportunity to make sure that your goals are written down so that you can see them, but also to make sure that they are trackable with set timeframes for when you want to achieve them by.
Make sure that you are including both financial and non-financial goals so that you cover all your motivators and emotions. For example, your financial goal might be a specific monthly income you want to earn. A non-financial goal might be to spend more time with your family, taking exotic holidays, growing the business, working with business mentors who inspire you.
You then need to set at least one huge goal that will be an ambitious reach for you. all your other goals will be realistic but you need the reach for the stars goals as well as this is what will inspire you to do whatever it takes to succeed.
